Added via naturejobs. An opportunity has arisen for a physician scientist Endocrinologist to focus on research with an emphasis in thyroid diseases and provide clinical care to adults.

This role within the University of Chicago's Department of Medicine’s Section of Adult and Pediatric Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism requires a rigorous program of independent research, multidisciplinary collaboration, and mentoring. The successful candidate will have an established independent program of research and a strong publication record in top quality journals. Applicants must be board certified in Adult Endocrinology and be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois. Excellent teaching and clinical skills are required. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with background and experience.
