The University of Birmingham has a number of MRC-funded one plus three-year MRes/PhD studentships available in the School of Clinical & Experimental Medicine, including in the field of endocrine cancer for which Birmingham has an international reputation. The term 'endocrine cancer' encompasses tumours of the endocrine glands, endocrine-related tumours (e.g. breast cancer) and neuroendocrine tumours.
The successful applicants will join and work with this team of leading scientists and clinicians to investigate specific molecular mechanisms in endocrine cancer. The deadline for applications is 17 January 2011. For more information on the studentships please follow the link below.
