A PhD student position starting July 2011 is available in the area of biochemistry (general field of endocrinology/metabolism and protein chemistry) in Pediatric Endocrinology, Department of Clinical Research, University of Bern, under the supervision of Dr. Amit V Pandey. The projects will combine genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology and protein chemistry and will focus on the role of mutations in P450 oxidoreductase (POR) and steroidogenic cytochrome P450 proteins in the metabolism of sex steroids.
