PhD student sought to develop of an in-vitro model of bone remodelling – Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, Netherlands

05 Jun 2014

EUT seeks a PhD student to establish a suitable 3D culture model that combines human bone-forming and bone-resorbing cells capable of mimicking bone turnover and visualize this process on-line with micro-computed tomography.  This project will advance existing approaches and investigate whether OC resorption actually affects the 3D morphology of the engineered tissue, which is essential for an in vitro model representing the basic unit of bone.

The deadline for applications is 8 July 2014. For further information, please visit the job advert.
