Prometheus, the division of Skeletal Tissue Engineering (TE) of the KU Leuven is seeking a PhD student to join their team of international researchers to investigate the mechanisms by which the diabetic micro-environment impacts bone regeneration. The acquired knowledge will serve as direct input for the optimization of current and the development of new experimental treatment strategies for robust and clinically relevant tissue engineering for skeletal applications in the diabetic micro-environment.
The position is a 1 year contract with extension upon positive evaluation.
