Patients with type 2 diabetes taking antidepressants have a higher mortality risk

According to a study presented in British Journal of Psychiatry Open, people with type 2 diabetes with depression who are prescribed antidepressants have increased mortality. The study suggests that the link was not casual, but may be a result of severe and unsuccessfully treated depression.
