Paediatric Endocrinologist and Section Chief, Alberta Children’s Hospital, Calgary, Canada

The Department of Paediatrics, Section of Endocrinology at the Alberta Children’s Hospital – Calgary Zone and University of Calgary invites applications for a paediatric endocrinologist faculty position at the Associate Professor level or higher. As Section Chief, the successful candidate will provide clinical and academic leadership to the Section members as well as guidance to the Endocrinology Residency Program. This position will be 50% clinical with 50% protected time allocated to administration, education and research.

The Department of Paediatrics has more than 250 clinical and academic faculty members who are part of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Calgary. Many members are also part of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute for Child and Maternal Health (ACHRI) or other Faculty research institutes. Applicants should have an MD or equivalent, Fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and eligibility for medical licensure in the Province of Alberta. Significant clinical experience and a record of academic productivity is required.
