Oral bisphenol A (BPA) intake associated with lower insulin sensitivity

Research presented at American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions found that 60% of healthy adults receiving oral BPAs had a decrease in insulin sensitivity after 4 days of being administered oral BPAs.  This suggests that BPAs may be linked to type 2 diabetes as a result of reduced peripheral insulin sensitivity.
