The successful applicant will join an established internationally excellent team of researchers and clinicians at the Centre for Endocrinology and will integrate into the paediatric endocrinology research programme on a project complementing the existing research on the timing of puberty. The lab's current focus is to use novel cell models to interrogate the genetic factors underlying the regulation of growth and the timing of sexual maturation through the GnRH neuronal network.
Experience in neurobiological research methodologies would be advantageous but is not mandatory. The closing date for applications is 20 February 2012.
