Nominations are now open for the John Maddox Prize for Standing up for Science 2019, which recognises the work of individuals who promote sound science and evidence on a matter of public interest, facing difficulty or hostility in doing so.
Nominations are welcomed from early career researchers as well as more senior researchers, across disciplines and countries
Winners receive £3000, and an announcement is published in Nature.
Nominations close on 19 July 2019 and winners will be announced in November.
