Added via www.jobs.ac.uk. Applications are invited for the post of NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Intensive Care Medicine (ICM) in the School of Clinical and Experimental Medicine at the University of Birmingham.

The main aim of this post is to nurture the academic development of a post-doctoral trainee in ICM, enabling the individual to develop into an independent principal investigator capable of securing a Clinician Scientist Fellowship in the future. The appointee will be expected to contribute significantly to the established research and education programmes of the School, linking the growing speciality of ICM to clinical or health services research; infection, inflammation and immunomodulation; endocrine dysfunction; and trauma and regeneration. Applicants should have completed a higher research degree (PhD/MD), and should have been appointed to a speciality training programme in ICM either as single-CCT training or in Dual programmes with one of the ICM partner specialities.
