Added via www.clinicalacademicjobs.org. An NIHR Clinical Lecturer post has been awarded to The University of Sheffield as part of the prestigious UKCRC/MMC integrated academic training pathway.

The post represents an exciting opportunity to combine clinical training in Endocrinology/Diabetes with a programme of post-doctoral research, providing 50% clinical and 50% academic time. The post will come with an Academic National Training Number [NTN(A)] in Endocrinology/Diabetes as part of the South Yorkshire rotation in Endocrinology, Diabetes and General Internal Medicine (GIM).

The successful applicant will have evidence of academic achievement and hold an MD/PhD, or equivalent. They will also have MRCP or equivalent and be eligible to hold an NTN, or may already hold an NTN, having undertaken some training at Specialty Registrar level or equivalent.
