New Society funding opportunity to advance Endocrine Nursing

The Society’s new Endocrine Nurse Grant was developed by the Nurse Committee to support research or audit projects aimed at enhancing nursing or clinical practice. These funds can be used to produce preliminary data for competitive Doctoral Research Fellowship applications.

Lisa Shepherd, Chair of Nurse Committee, explains, “The launch of this grant provides an excellent opportunity for nurses working in endocrinology to undertake a piece of research or audit. This will fundamentally not only improve practice and positively impact on patient care, but enhance the nurses’ professional profile.’

There will be two application rounds each year and the next deadline is 27 November 2017.

An award of up to £5,000 is available per deadline.
