New Society Endocrine Network unveiled to focus on the Endocrine Consequences of Living with and Beyond Cancer (1)

The new Endocrine Consequences of Living with and Beyond Cancer Network joins our seven existing Endocrine Networks to provide focus, networking and collaboration opportunities for those with an interest in research and clinical care associated with endocrinology and cancer.

The Endocrine Network convenors, Dr Helen Simpson and Dr Claire Higham look forward to hearing from anyone with an interest in this endocrine area and working together with you to advance research and clinical practice in this field.

  • Endocrine and metabolic consequences of cancer and cancer therapies
  • Electrolyte disturbances such as hyponatraemia, hypo/hypercalcaemia
  • Immunotherapy toxicities
  • Endocrine consequence of proton beam therapy.
  • Bone health
  • Work towards recommending interventions and surveillance strategies
