New research finds common bacteria may boost healing of diabetic wounds

American researchers have identified that Alcaligenes faecalis (A. faecalis), a bacterium commonly found in chronic wounds, may have therapeutic properties in treating diabetic wounds in mice, including faster wound healing. The study was published in Science Advances.
