The Society for Endocrinology has agreed a new 2-year partnership with Pfizer. The agreement is the first of its kind for the Society and has been the result of more than six months of discussions to ensure maximum benefit to both organisations.
The partnership represents a true collaboration with an industry partner, working on joint projects for the benefit of endocrinology. Benefits to the Society include expert advice from Pfizer to help support different areas of our business e.g. digital communications.
With ever-changing regulations, budgets and technologies, pharmaceutical companies are looking for different opportunities to work with learned societies, who help them decide what research to fund and what projects to pursue. The partnership will help the Society for Endocrinology develop its sponsorship models, not only to maximise revenues, but work with industry to meet the Society’s aim of advancing endocrinology research and medicine globally.
