New International Network on Differences or Disorders of Sex Development Launched and Seeking Further Participants

21 Aug 2013

Recently, the EU-funded COST Action BM1303 "DSDnet: A systematic elucidation of differences of sex development" was launched, which aims to build a European and world-wide network on differences or disorders of sex development (DSD).  This network will create capabilities for training, education and exchange in the field of DSD. DSDnet is open to all interested scientists and membership is through the countries that sign the agreement. The DSDnet will try to connect basic and clinical scientists in order to gain a diagnosis for all patients with DSD and therefore allow better, potentially personalized, management and therapies.  Furthermore, it will aim to form a European Reference Network for DSD and allow further applications for research activities in the near future.
