NCCPE Engage Competition 2016

15 Jun 2016

Are you involved in public engagement with research? Have you worked on a brilliant project that you want to share?

The NCCPE Engage Competition is back for 2016 and open for applications.

The National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement are running a competition to find and celebrate high quality public engagement with research.

Across the UK, researchers are engaging the public in lots of different ways and for lots of different reasons. The NCCPE want to recognise and reward high-quality examples of public engagement in practice, and want you to get involved. Applications covering projects from all disciplines are encouraged - of any size, length and cost. Whether you are new to public engagement, or have been engaging with the public for years, they would love to hear from you.

There are six competition categories, and the winner of each category will receive a prize of £1,500 to go towards further public engagement work. The winners and runners-up from each category will be celebrated at an awards ceremony as part of Engage 2016, the NCCPE’s annual conference, held in November this year.

The closing date for entries is Monday 18th July 2016 at 12 noon. Find out more and apply via the website: https://www.publicengagement.ac.uk/engage-competition-2016.
