National Thyroid Ultrasound and FNA Course for Clinicians

The National Thyroid Ultrasound and FNA Course for Clinicians will be held on Wednesday 5 December 2012 from 09.00 - 17.00 at The Royal College of Pathologists, 2 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1Y 5AF.

This popular one-day course is an essential part of the national training scheme for certification in the use of ultrasound in the management of thyroid diseases by nonradiologists. The curriculum for training and certification for neck ultrasound by non-radiologists has been drawn up jointly by the British Thyroid Association and the Royal College of Radiologists. The programme is also supported by the Society for Endocrinology and approved by the Royal College of Physicians from whom CPD has been approved. The training programme is appropriate for established clinicians who manage thyroid diseases and thyroid cancer and SpRs.
