Modelling thyroid development from human stem cells - IRIBHM, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium

A post-doctoral position is available in the Sabine Costagliola Lab (IRIBHM-ULB) to model thyroid development and thyroid diseases using human ES/IPS cells. The lab uses pluripotent stem cells to study the embryonic development of the thyroid (Antonica et al., Nature 2012).

The lab seeks an individual to decipher the regulatory mechanisms involved in embryonic thyroid development from human pluripotent stem cells. The project will involve Chip-Seq, microarrays, RNA-Seq, TALENs/CRISPRs and cell culture approaches.
