Reproduction, edited by Tom Fleming, publishes original research articles and topical reviews on the subject of reproductive biology. Its focus is on cellular and molecular biology of reproduction, including the development of gametes and early embryos in all species including humans; developmental processes such as cell differentiation, morphogenesis and related regulatory mechanisms in normal and disease models; assisted reproductive technologies in model systems and in a clinical environment; reproductive endocrinology; and reproductive physiology. Emerging topics including cloning, the biology of embryonic stem cells, environmental effects on reproductive potential and health, and epigenetic effects on reproductive and developmental processes are encouraged.
Research Highlights publishes original manuscripts reporting major discoveries or advances in a particular field of reproductive biology to keep readers up to date.
Reproduction is the official journal of the Society for Reproduction and Fertility (SRF). The Society’s charitable status means that any proceeds from the journal are returned to the research community through the organisation of scientific meetings, provision of travel grants and summer studentships.
