The Mary Seacole Awards provide the opportunity to undertake a specific health care project or other educational/development activity that benefits and improves the health outcomes of people from BME communities.

They are funded by NHS Employers and the Department of Health, and are awarded in association with Royal College of Midwives, Royal College of Nursing, Unison and Unite/CPHVA. Funding is worth up to £12,500.

Deadline for applications is: 31 May 2013.
