Research presented in Obesity has suggested that exercising in the morning is more effective in reducing BMI and waist circumference in adults than exercising in the afternoon or evening. The researchers, who state that more research is necessary, saw a 2cm difference in waist circumference reduction between morning and afternoon exercising.
