Nominations are now invited for ESE's two most prestigious awards: The Geoffrey Harris Prize and the European Journal of Endocrinology Prize.
The Geoffrey Harris Prize, worth €12000 and generously sponsored by Ipsen, is presented to established researchers in the field of neuroendocrinology and is the first of its kind in Europe.
The European Journal of Endocrinology Prize prize is awarded to a candidate who has significantly contributed to the advancement of knowledge in the field of endocrinology through publication. The prize consists of a certificate and €10000.
The winners of each prize will be expected to deliver a headline lecture to open the European Congress of Endocrinology 2015 in Dublin, Ireland on 16 May 2015. Nominations must be made by a member of ESE by the deadline of 28 February 2014 (today). See the website of each grant for full eligibility and details of how to nominate.
2014 Prize winners
Congratulations go to Ashley Grossman (UK) and Martin Fassnacht (Germany), winners of the 2014 Geoffrey Harris Prize and European Journal of Endocrinology Prize respectively. Their lectures will be delivered during the opening ceremony of ECE 2014 in Wrocław, Poland on 3 May 2014.
