JOE/JME Prize presentation - 16:35, Main Hall

The 2012 JOE/JME prize is awarded on behalf of the Journal of Endocrinology to Dr Li Chan (UK). The prize is designed to recognise an outstanding young researcher who has made a significant contribution to research in basic endocrinology.

Dr Chan (William Harvey Research Institute, Centre for Endocrinology, London, UK) will give a short presentation on her research on expression of melanocortin 2 receptor (MC2R)/melanocortin 2 receptor accessory protein (MRAP) in a well-defined rat model of endotoxin induced septic shock, that led to her being nominated for and awarded with this prize. Dr Chan will then be presented with her prize by Professor Adrian Clark (UK) today at 16:35 in the Main Hall.
