Introducing the new award in honour of Jens Sandahl Christiansen

We're delighted to announce the launch of the ESE Jens Sandahl Christiansen Award. This award will be presented to an endocrinologist, who is an ESE member (under 45 years of age), for a specific piece of research or project on metabolism and contributes to our understanding of the field. There will be two awards, one for clinical and one for basic science.

The recipients of the award will receive €5,000 each and an award plaque to help commemorate their achievement.

Nominations

Nominations can be made by any scientific organisation or administrative group. The application documents consisting of the nomination form, letter of support detailing the achievements of the nominee, CV and details of a specific piece of research/project to be considered for the award.

Deadline for the 2018 award is 30 November 2017 and the presentation will be at ECE 2019.
