International Project Manager in diabetes

A vacancy is available to work as an International Project Manager (IPM) in diabetes in the London offices of a French multinational company in the pharmaceutical sector. Under the direction of the Therapeutic Division based in Europe and based in the Therapeutic Research Centre in London, the IPM will operate on a global basis within his/her therapeutic areas. In accordance with the drug development plan and strategy and in collaboration with other internal colleagues in various R&D departments, he/she will be responsible for the initial conception of phase I, II and III clinical trials and will propose the best strategy in terms of study design, choice of criteria and subsequently, will provide medical management and results exploitation of the clinical data generated. He/she will lead clinical trial projects in phases I, II, and III at an international level (in several countries simultaneously), set up, conduct, coordinate the project, and analyse the clinical data generated. He/she will manage the projects profit and loss account, as well as the human resources assigned. He/she will prepare and/or review documents needed for the set-up of the study (investigators brochure, protocol, medical review guide, abstracts and articles) and manage and follow up sub-contractors and logistics (CRO for monitoring, therapeutic units, equipment). In addition to these tasks, he/she will also work on several projects, as well as organize and coordinate HCS, and may be delegated on several IPM (International Project Managers) missions.

Education: Physician, ideally specialist in Diabetes with 5 years clinical research experience in hospitals, pharmaceuticals laboratories or contract research organizations. You should be willing to make regular trips worldwide. You should speak fluent English and a knowledge of French is preferable.
