<i>Clinical Endocrinology</i> in the news

Research published in the Society's journal Clinical Endocrinology suggests a causal link between IGF-1 levels and enlarged, stronger hearts in top-level male rowers. The Society press office have issued a media release based on this paper entitled 'New research provides clues as to why elite rowers have bigger, stronger hearts' which was covered by BBC news online. Meanwhile, a study from July's Clinical Endocrinology shows that sex-steroids and body fat are partially controlled by the same set of genes.
