Health Economist Research Fellow - MRC Epidemiology Unit, Cambridge

The Medical Research Council Epidemiology Unit studies the genetic and environmental determinants of obesity, type 2 diabetes and related metabolic disorders, and the translation of epidemiological findings into preventive action.

They currently have a Fellowship on offer to provide health economic expertise, analysis and reporting for a number of research projects, and to undertake cost-effectiveness analyses for existing trials and modelling work in relation to prevention of and screening for type 2 diabetes.
