Head of the Joint Clinical Department of Gut Microbiota and Metabolic Health - Guangzhou, China

Guangdong Women and Children Hospital, Guangzhou, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, (both China) have jointly set up a clinical department to explore the translational nature of the studies on gut microbiota and human health. The establishment of this department is a development of a successful joint research project on gut microbiota and childhood obesity. A department head will be recruited to lead this new department.

The successful applicant will possess an MD in endocrinology and metabolic diseases or related scientific discipline, five-plus years experience in the field of gut microbiota, host genetics and/or nutrition, and a variety of clinical, situational leadership and communication skills, among others.
