Via www.naturejobs.com. The Necker-Enfants Malades Institute is a research centre for molecular medicine in the heart of Paris, France. The Institute is in close interaction with the Necker Hospital, which gathers paediatric departments, clinical departments for adult patients and a clinical biology department, all with long-lasting tradition and outstanding medical science. The Institute promotes interdisciplinary approaches from basic science to translational application.

The Necker-Enfants Malades Institute invites applications for group leader positions to reinforce the Cell Biology Department, covering mechanistic aspects of growth, proliferation and development in pathophysiological conditions. The candidates should be dynamic and qualified investigators with a strong track record. Applications from both junior investigators (to establish a new group) and senior investigators (to move with their established group) will be considered. New groups are expected to start in 2013 or early 2014. Development of transversal projects with departments of Necker Hospital (Nephrology, Pneumology, Endocrinology, Metabolism, Hematology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Neurology) will be strongly encouraged.
