Free places to attend Sense About Science media training workshops

17 Sept 2012

Now an annual partner of Sense About Science, SfE is once again pleased to offer five of its trainee members (see below) free places to attend a media workshop at the University of Glasgow on Friday 16 November 2012. The workshop is organised by Voice of Young Science (VoYS), Sense About Science's early-career scientist network, and is designed to introduce young scientists to working with the media and engaging in scientific debate in the public arena.

SfE is inviting applications from its Scientist-in-Training, Clinician-in-Training, Associate and Student Members (excluding undergraduates, who are not eligible to attend the workshop) to attend and receive a travel grant of up to £200. Please visit the page below for full details and an application form. The deadline for applications is 5pm, 26 October 2012. Places will be offered on a first-come first-serve basis on complete submission of an application form, CV and cover letter.
