France investigates Diane-35 acne drug after deaths (Reuters, 27 January 2013)

France's health regulator ANSM has announced a safety review of Diane-35 and its generics following statements made by physicians in the national pharmacovigilance system that report a link to four deaths since 1987. The review is expected to conclude next week.
