Five rare disease projects selected for funding under the 2012 work plan of the Second EU Health Programme (OrphaNews, 1 September 2012)

The European Commission has made the Award Decision concerning the projects, joint actions, conferences and operating grants to be co-funded following the Calls for Proposals under the 2012 work plan of the Second EU Health Programme (2008-2013). In the area of rare diseases a total of five projects on information networks and registries have been selected including a European Surgical Registry for Rare Endocrine Tumours (EUROCRINE).
