Fall in European ovarian cancer deaths correlates with increased contraceptive use

The ovarian cancer death rate in the EU is predicted to fall by 7% in 2022 compared to 2017 figures, according to research published in the Annals of Oncology. The researchers attribute the decline to increased use of oral contraceptives.
