ESE is pleased to announce the ESE International Endocrine Scholars Programme (IESP) for 2016.
The IESP is aimed at promoting the career development of young endocrinologists from around the globe by identifying talented young investigators and offering them an exceptional training experience. The programme funds a training period of 2-3 years in an outstanding laboratory for highly qualified candidates. The training focuses on laboratory-based research. Clinically qualified candidates could have an additional clinical observer status, if relevant.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend the European Society of Endocrinology annual meeting, and travel, registration and accommodation will be covered by the ESE.
Upon selection as an ESE IESP Scholar, the individual will receive free three year membership to the ESE. The Scholar will also receive a travel bursary of €3000 to cover visits to potential host labs.
Full details of the IESP and application process can be found on the ESE website. The closing date for applications is 14 January 2016.
