European Society for Medical Oncology clinical unit visit grant

Via www.rdfunding.org.uk. The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) offer clinical unit visit grants to enable candidates to see how oncology care and translational research are organised in a top cancer centre.

ESMO offers young oncologists up to 12 clinical unit visit grants per year at outstanding European oncology facilities, for a period of six weeks. The clinical unit visits provide the opportunity to: gain an insight into how oncology care and translational research is organised at a top cancer centre; establish a privileged link with a European institution of excellence; and import the host institute’s high quality procedures to the home institution.

Funding of €5,000 is available for six weeks. Host institutions will receive €1,000 for administration costs. The closing date for applications is 1 March 2012; click on the link below for more information.
