European Science Foundation report: human stem cell research and regenerative medicine

11 Nov 2010

The European Science Foundation (ESF) has recently produced a report that examines the key scientific questions in human stem cell research in the field of regenerative medicine as well as the current ethical concerns, particularly as we advance towards clinical application.

The report was drafted with the help of a high-level expert group formed by the European Medical Research Councils (EMRC) at the ESF, who have also made recommendations for the future of stem cell research and policy summarised at the end of the report. A full copy of the report, as well as other ESF science policy briefings, can be found by following the link below.
