European Programme for Clinical Research in the Field of Pancreatic Islet Dysfunction

04 Nov 2008

European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes (EFSD) and Novartis Pharma AG request applications for their European Programme for Clinical Research in the Field of Pancreatic Islet Dysfunction. Funding of up to Euro 600,000 is available for European research into pancreatic islet dysfunction. Applications that propose to carry out clinical physiology are particularly welcome, whereas studies that only make use of human tissues would not be top priority. The EFSD/Novartis Programme grants are intended to stimulate and accelerate European research into all aspects of pancreatic islet dysfunction. This Programme will target the clinical physiology and natural history of pancreatic islet dysfunction as it pertains to diabetes and other dysglycaemic conditions. To request an application form, please email: [email protected]. Further details can be found at the website below. The closing date for applications is 10 December 2008.
