The EMBO Gold Medal is awarded annually to a young European researcher that demonstrates excellence in the field of molecular biology. The award brings the scientist's research to the attention of the wider community and champions young science.

The EMBO Gold Medal brings with it a bursary of 10,000 Euros. Nominations must be supported by three EMBO members and must be submitted by 15 February 2011. For more information please follow the link below.
