ESPE Summer School Committee Vacancy - deadline for applications 31 March 2013

We are seeking applications for one vacant position as a member of the ESPE Summer School Committee. The three-year appointment will start after the Joint Meeting in 2013. The main task of the Summer School Committee is to develop the programme of the Summer School and participate in the evaluation of applicants for the Summer School.

The successful applicant is expected to attend and participate actively in the Summer School. He/she is expected to teach and be involved in mentoring the students. Applicants should have a wide knowledge of the published literature in paediatric endocrinology in general and detailed knowledge in more than one specific area. Preference will be given to candidates whose interests are complementary to those of the current members of the steering committee. The workload consists of several emails and preparation work, attendance at the Summer School, evaluation of submitted applications, and face to face steering committee meetings every year (during the Summer School). The appointment will be made by the ESPE Council following recommendation by the Summer School Committee.
