ESE Poster Prize winners

Congratulations to all the ESE Poster Prize winners, who were announced yesterday in the awards ceremony. They are as follows:

Basic science: Cynthia Andoniadou (UK) – New insights into the molecular and cellular pathogenesis of human craniopharyngioma: do pituitary stem cells underlie the origin of these tumours? This was poster 773.

Basic science: Pablo Martinez de Morentin (Spain). Nicotine induces negative energy balance through hypothalamic AMP-activated protein kinase. This was poster 1171.

Clinical: Giulia Brigante (Italy). - The TRHR gene is associated to hypothalamo-pituitary sensitivity to levothyroxine in thyroidectomized patients. This was poster 1755.

Clinical: Esther Donga (The Netherlands). Selective suppression of slow wave sleep does not affect insulin sensitivity in patients with type 1 diabetes. This was poster 499.

Nursing: Erin Booth (USA). A survey of knowledge related to cystic fibrosis related diabetes. This was poster N28
