Our warmest congratulations
ESE is pleased today to award its most prestigious prizes to two visionaries of the endocrine world.
Professor Ashley Grossman (UK) will deliver the Geoffrey Harris Prize lecture Did the Hand, then, of the Potter shake? at 18:05 in the Auditorium. The title of his lecture is drawn from the epic poem The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, who’s early manuscript resides in Professor Grossman’s Oxford. We are really looking forward to finding out how this relates to his work in neuroendocrinology!
This will be followed at 19:05 by the European Journal of Endocrinology Prize lecture from Professor Dr Martin Faasnacht (Germany). Prof Dr Faasnacht has published seminal papers on adrenocortical carcinoma, and in his lecture he will discuss current concepts and future perspectives on the subject.
Many congratulations to both.
