22 Feb 2010

Enhancing Excellence in Endocrinology (E3) is delighted to announce that registration is now open for the next E3 multidisciplinary management and professional development skills course – Skills for Success – which will be held on 15–16 May 2010 at the University of Warwick Conference Centre.

Designed for nurse specialists, specialty trainees, new consultants and other health care professionals (HCPs) working in adult and paediatric endocrinology, Skills for Success is relevant for those who find themselves with increasing managerial responsibilities. As an HCP working in endocrine care, whether supporting your own personal development, the development of others or endocrine services, Skills for Success will have something for you.

The course programme includes workshops and interactive plenary sessions with expert speakers and trainers addressing the challenges you may face in your current role and future career, including: optimising your communication with clinical teams, patients and managers; gaining an understanding of NHS funding and service delivery and what this means for your endocrine service; understanding what it means to be a leader and inspire at all levels.

For more details log on to the E3 website: www.e3endocrinology.org or contact the E3 Secretariat on [email protected] or 020 7632 1849. E3 has been initiated and funded by Pfizer Ltd working with a range of healthcare professionals specialising in endocrine care, and is being delivered in association with the Society for Endocrinology and the British Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes.
