Geisinger Health System (GHS) is seeking physicians to join our growing Endocrinology teams at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC), Danville, Pa., Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV), Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and Geisinger-Scenery Park, State College, Pa.

Geisinger offers the opportunity to practice in a 100% subspecialty Endocrinology clinical practice. Opportunities for clinical practice include serving as investigator on diabetes clinical trials, US-guided Thyroid Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsies, and Continuous Glucose Sensors and Bone Density interpretation. Engage in clinical mentoring and educational programs for medical students on the GMC and GWV campuses. Serve as specialty consultant for Geisinger’s Community Practice and private Primary Care Physician groups throughout Central & Northeast Pennsylvania to enhance the health of the diabetes population. Serve as Endocrine Consultant for patients in a Tertiary/Quaternary care Hospital (GMC & GWV) or Community Hospital (State College) setting alongside our top Oncology, ENT, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Trauma and Transplant surgeons to provide high quality care to a challenging spectrum of patients with Pituitary, Thyroid, Parathyroid, Pancreas and Adrenal disease. Practice is enhanced through daily utilization of Inpatient Glucometrics & the Nationally Acclaimed Geisinger Outpatient Diabetes Bundle metrics to identify high risk patients and improve the value of healthcare services delivered to patients with diabetes throughout Geisinger Health System.
