EFSD/Boehringer Ingelheim European Diabetes Research Programme invite applications from single non-profit institutions or groups of such institutions from Europe and associated countries to apply for funding to support a a basic research project These programmes consist of two elements:

(1) Regulation of secretion and/or function of non-insulin peptides from the pancreas. Basic research programmes.

(2) Mechanisms relating renal dysfunction to cardiovascular disease in type 2 diabetes. Clinical / Translational research programmes.
