Football fans out there should be familiar with Wroclaw, Poland as it was a host city for the Euro 2012 Football Championships. But to endocrinologists it has even more significance as it will also play host to the 16th European Congress of Endocrinology to be held from 3-7 May 2014.

The city of Wroclaw has undergone major renovations in preparation for Euro 2012 with the airport and train station being modernised as well as brand new hotels and improved infrastructure.
