ECE 2013 - deadline for abstract submissions - 13 January 2013

The 15th European Congress of Endocrinology will take place in the cosmopolitan and historic city of Copenhagen from 27 April - 1 May 2013. A video introducing the conference and city can now be viewed on the ECE 2013 website.

Online abstract submission is available until the closing deadline of 13 January 2013. Full instructions on how to submit an abstract are available on the website. Online registration is also now open with reduced rates available for ESE members (€300 saving) and those who register before the early bird deadline of 11 March 2013. If you are not yet a member of ESE and would like to benefit from reduced registration rates, please visit ESE membership and join today! Reduced registration is also available to nurses attending ECE 2013 at just €100! (early bird rate).

The preliminary scientific programme, including the ever-popular 'Meet the Expert' sessions and a wide-range of oral communications can now be viewed online. Highlights of the programme include plenary lectures to be given by Nobel laureate Aaron Ciechanover (Israel), winner of the 2004 Nobel prize in Chemistry, and Bert O'Malley (USA), laureate of the Fondation IPSEN. The Opening Ceremony will feature the Geoffrey Harris Prize Lecture to be given by Iain Clarke (Australia) on ‘Cross-talk and chatter in reproductive neuroendocrinology’ and the European Journal of Endocrinology Prize Lecture by Felix Beuschlein (Germany) who will talk about ‘Regulation of aldosterone secretion - from physiology to disease’.
