Early detection, treatment needed to reduce risk of death, cardiovascular disease in Cushing's disease patients (Medical News Today, 14 February 2013)

A new study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism found that certain groups of patients with Cushing's disease can be at greater risk of dying from cardiovascular disease. This finding holds even if the initial treatment for Cushing's disease was successful.
