The SfE Early Career Grant Programme (formerly the Small Grant Programme) provides financial support to post-graduate SfE members no more than 10 years out of their post-graduate degree, although extenuating circumstances may apply.

Monies from the grant (up to £10,000 can be applied for) can be used in a number of ways, including (but not limited to): resources to gain preliminary data before applying for other funding; a specific item of equipment; resources to finalise a project; short-term salary funding.
